“Americans are experiencing extreme weather events that feel different from what we’ve experienced in the past,’” said Josh Dorfman, CEO of The Collider, a nonprofit innovation center in downtown Asheville focused on catalyzing market-driven climate solutions. “How to think about extreme weather and climate change and what to do about it is exactly the conversation we should be having. Bill Nye’s lifelong dedication to communicating science in ways that are highly entertaining and readily understood makes him a wonderful speaker to help us all gain greater clarity into the urgency of this moment.”
