Whether you’re a foodie, a hiker or a biker, or just enjoy the mountain city vibe, there is never a shortage of reasons to love Asheville. The City of Asheville is partnering with local organizations to encourage you to share the love with friends, family and local businesses during LOCAL ASHEVILLE GO LOCAL WEEK.
Set for Feb. 10-17, the week of Valentine’s Day,
LOVE ASHEVILLE GO LOCAL WEEK
features a series of special promotions and activities designed
to reconnect the community with downtown Asheville.
The week will be officially recognized through a mayoral proclamation on Feb. 13.
In support of encouraging residents to come downtown to enjoy the festivities, parking vouchers redeemable for an additional hour free in the City’s parking decks will be available to pick up at the Asheville Downtown Association Offices at 29 Haywood Street between 5 and 7 p.m. Feb. 10 (Saturday) or at participating businesses throughout the week.
Businesses can participate in LOVE ASHEVILLE GO LOCAL WEEK by signing up to host a special activity or promotion though through this form. Event details will then be shared as part of the overall campaign. Visit loveAsheville.org for details on all of the planned activities, and check back often for updates.
